Program

Jay Clevenger announced we would have a new fund raiser this year.  The Pot of Gold has about reached the maximum that we can make without raising ticket prices.  The Boston Butt Fundraisers are at the same point.  Our needs, however, are continuing to increase.  We believe that the new event can double our annual fundraising budget.

The fist ever professional golf tournament in Jonesboro will be held at Sage Meadows from July 17 – 21.  It will be a part of the Heartland Tour.  Gary Childress will be the chairman of the event.

They are seeking a title sponsor for the event.  Anyone interested should see Gary.  This will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Bob Troutt communicated the Heartland Tour is a senior event.  The participants are trying to work their way to the Champions Tour.  There will be plenty of opportunities for everyone to serve, whether a golfer or not.

Pam Kail brought up the Pot of Gold, which will be March 11. All of the committee chairs were announced.  There will no longer be corporate sponsors this year.  They will be asked to sponsor the golf event.  We will change the format a bit where the winner is announced sooner.

Len Frye has asked that we follow-up on the tickets that were sold last year to determine how many will be available.  There will be 200 tables at $175 per ticket.
