 Vocational Minute

Dawna Haley is Director of Sales for Russell Cellular.  She is over a regional network here in Northeast Arkansas.  The are authorized Alltel and Dish network salespeople.  Next week, they will be an authorized agency to receive Alltel payments. They handle individual and business clients. 

 

Super Seniors

Whitni Weece is a senior at Brookland.

Cody Pace is a senior at JHS. 

 

Speaking were:

Katie Beineke attends Jonesboro High School.  She was the captain of the volleyball team.  She puts her academics above her athletics.  She will attend Lyon College on a full scholarship.  She has had many role models while in school and attempted to be a role model herself while captaining the volleyball team.

Kathryn Crane is a senior at Nettleton High School.  She is the President of the National Honor Society.  She is a 5-year member of the Dance Team and Choir.  Catherine is in Students Who Care, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Club Yield.  She was the homecoming queen and voted best personality for three years.  She is very active in missions with her church.

 

Announcements

 

Paul Holmes won the Bowl Picks with an overall record of 19-9.

 

Debra Taylor announced the Salvation Army Coat Drive would continue for a couple more weeks.  We have around 50 coats so far.  Anyone that has a coat to donate, bring it to the meeting and she or Dosha Cummins will take them to the Salvation Army.

 

There will be a New Member Orientation at St. Bernard’s Behavioral Health week after next.  Contact Jayni Blackburn.

 

Members should have all received their dues statement.  We hope that everyone will consider a foundation donation.

 

New Member

Jerry McClurg was inducted as a new member.  He was sponsored by Charles Harris.  He is employed by NCA Communications.  He knows networking, programming and design.  Jerry is married to Dinah and has two young children.

 

Good News

Joe Stallings honored Pam Kail as the first female president of our Club.

Leon Carlisle announced Heidi’s pottery is now being presented for sale in the Clinton Library.

Len Frey has just returned from teaching in Salsburg, Austria. 

Mark Richardson shared with the club that his son was married over the holiday.

Margaret Holloway announced that Ritter got a contract with the city.

 

Program

Mark Young introduced Dr. Al Langlois.  He brought some entertaining stories from Cajun country.
