PROGRAM:

Program this week was Dr. Dave Thomas from Lyon College speaking on current research programs being conducted to identify the possibility of life in our Solar System.  Dr. Thomas is a Biology professor conducting research thru a grant with NASA.

Research is looking for two elements necessary for life:

                                    1) source of elements   (iron, protein, etc)

                                    2) source of energy   (light, water, heat, etc)

Research is finding that life can be found in the most inhospitable of worlds.

Where there is a way; life will survive.
