PROGRAM:
Introduced by Dr. John Shannon our quest speaker was Mr. Bob Draper.
Regional Director for the American Red Cross. Topic was the upcoming MASH BASH
Scheduled for January 6, 7, and 8 at St. Bernards Auditorium.
Volunteers are needed to help with Food and Calling Donors.
To maintain an adequate supply of blood for this region requires 500 units of blood per day. Very difficult to maintain this level of donations. Takes 5 days to process blood so a shortage seems to be a constant problem.
Last MASH BASH 920 individuals presented to donate resulting in 802 pints collected.
These drives help to supplement a low supply. Goal is to increase these numbers this year.
Please SIGN UP to donate blood and also to help with the MASH BASH. Contact John Shannon at jlshannon@cox-internet.com for more information.
