“Are you still writing 2006 on your checks?

Guests

Chris Clark, son of President Rusty Clark; Leslie Pruett, former Ambassadorial Scholar to Australia, who is set to return to Australia for another advanced degree.

Super Seniors

Robert Monteforte, senior at Brookland High School and battalion commander of the ROTC unit at BHS, addressed the club. Robert, who has a 3.9+ GPA and has scored 30 on the ACT, is looking at Williams Baptist College and Arkansas State University for degrees in business and computer science. The discipline and determination he learned from ROTC have helped him get through the difficult AP courses he chose for himself and helped him to inspire others to excel.

Program

Paul Holmes introduced Craighead County deputy sheriff Chris Hathcoat, the handler of Raid, one of two canines the department uses. Hathcoat and Raid, certified as a team, perform drug detection, tracking and apprehension. Raid also put on a detection demonstration, “alerting” on drugs hidden by the officer in the meeting room. Hathcoat and Raid are together 24/7, the only way a K-9 team can function.

Rusty led the 4-Way Test: First, Is it the truth, Is it fair to all concerned, will it build goodwill and better friendships, will it be beneficial to all concerned.

This Week’s Program

Another great one
