Perfect Attendance Awards were given to Jim Steele and Debra Taylor (3 years).
Jim Steele was recognized as the Best Boston Butt Chef in the World.
Debra Taylor was recognized as officer/director for the year.
Announcements
Chris Reddick’s father passed away in Paragould. Please keep Chris’ family in your thoughts and prayers.
Jessee Stafford said the Hurricane Committees were still working. They are looking for grant writers to assist with fairly large grant requests for their projects.
Mark the dates: either March 10th or 17th for Pot of Gold.
Jay Clevenger announced Saturday the 15th at 9:00 am the Optus Senior Open kick-off will take place at Sage Meadows. The entire club is encouraged to attend.
Dosha Cummins planned July 27 at 5:30 at Chris Carlisle Memorial Park will be a Family of Rotary gathering/hot dog cookout. Trees will be labeled and a good time should be had by all. Bring the kids!
Rita Reed said that Make a Wish would like to have us come up with ideas to actually make Gage a super hero. We will meet 5:15 Monday afternoon, July 17th at Jones and Company.
Good News
Glen Bowers rebuttal is that he has survived all of the airplane travels that he made it through the past few weeks.
Program
There was a Club Assembly. A questionnaire/member interest survey was passed out to the club to complete.
There were posters on the wall for each of our 5 major club areas. The chair people of the committees were there to answer any questions and follow-up on members for the committees.
